A tech firm Datamellon has has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, an elder statesman, revered philanthropist, and pillar of Nigeria’s business community.
CEO of the company, Wale Adedeji, in a statement said his passing “is a deeply personal loss to the Datamellon family, as he was the father of the company’s Deputy Managing Director, Bashir Aminu Dantata.”
“Alhaji Dantata was a source of strength, vision, and integrity to all who knew him,” said Adedeji.
“His contributions to commerce, community development, and national advancement are well documented, and his life was a masterclass in leadership with humility.”
Widely respected for his wisdom and values, Alhaji Dantata’s legacy continues to inspire generations of leaders and citizens alike.
“I pray for the peaceful repose of his soul, and that the Almighty comforts the Dantata family and all who were touched by his life,” Adedeji added.
