The former Red Star Belgrade striker speaking with Fever Pitch while in Nigeria for the Christmas and New Year break added that his hopes are to always to get wherever he finds himself.
“As you know I’m in Nigeria for the Christmas and New year break but all I can say is I hope the second half of the season will be better than the first as I hope to score more goals and lift my club higher on the Dutch Eredivise table” Dauda told Fever Pitch.
The player has been in scintillating form since his move from Serbia to Holland last summer where he has hit double digits in terms of goal scored, including a memorable hat trick against Excelsior, scoring in the  41st, 60 and 65th minutes to condemn the visitors to a defeat.
He joined Vitesse from Serbia champions Red Star after they were disqualified from the Champions League for €500,000 . He scored 15 times from 31 games last season.
The 26-year-old is yet to be capped at any level by Nigeria, despite his goal scoring exploits in Sweden and Serbia before coming to the Netherlands where he is continuing to impress with his performances.
With Eagles still short when it comes to striking options, many have been calling on Coach Stephen Keshi to expand the lookout for new talents like Dauda that could solve some of the problems in that department.
