David Adeleke, Nigerian music star popularly known as Davido, has shared a picture of his encounter with the mother of co-artiste, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid.

The “Stand Strong” crooner posted the picture on his social media accounts, revealing that he met Wizkid’s mother at an airport overseas.

Davido wrote; “Such an amazing Woman … God bless you ma …. D way I was carrying mommy’s bags today at the airport .. dem know say Nah, First class citizen, ❤️❤️❤️”

Davido and Wizkid are among Nigerian brightest stars, who have gained global attention through their feat.

The contemporaries have had occasional brawl, but they have also forged along.

In 2017, when Wizkid released his third album ‘Sounds from the other side’, Davido made a post on his Snapchat where he allegedly interpreted Wizkid’s music as “pon pon sounds”,

Wizkid who caught the message, made a tweet in which he said that people should not hate on an individual for doing better than them. He wrote; “U can’t hate on someone doing better than u in what u failed at! Learn and appreciate! Free ur mind from hate young kids”. Later on, he made another tweet saying; “catch up or stay local”.

Davido, who decided not to end the beef from there was later featured in a song with popular rapper, Olamide.

In the song titled Summer Body, the 30 billion gang crooner dissed Wizkid, saying, “With Yanky passport, they say we local oh / You better catch up, I go see you later”.

Wizkid, who would have none of that, described Davido’s voice as that of a frog.

He had tweeted, “My people make una remember to say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice.”

The artistes later reconciled as they were spotted hugging each other on stage.
