Davido splashes over N15m on birthday

Nigeria’s multiple award winning pop artiste, Davido, who turned 22 penultimate Friday, also made his mark at the venue where he celebrated it with a N15 million lavish weekend. The ‘Skelewu’ crooner, who in advent of his birthday had dropped a new tune, ‘Owo ni koko’ off his forthcoming sophomore album, spent N1.3 million ($8,000)  to book an all-weekend suite at the luxurious spot along with members of the HKN Gang as part of his birthday celebration.
On his birthday, he made another mark celebrating at one of Vegas’ most expensive night clubs Tao Night Club which was also venue for Kim Kardashian’s 34th birthday recently. At the night club, where a VIP table is set at N884, 254 ($5,000), Davido paid for six tables.
Leaving up to his tag, OBO, the extravaganza continued as the pop icon went on a shopping spree of designer shoes which fans know he loves unconditionally.
He didn’t disappoint them, as he reportedly spent N9 million ($60,000) at Christian Loubouton and Giuseppe Zanoti stores in Vegas on 25 pairs of shoes from both exclusive designer stores.
