President Bola Tinubu has declared that the era of empty promises and abandoned projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and other parts of Nigeria is over.
Tinubu made this statement in Abuja on Friday while inaugurating the newly rehabilitated Agumapalace, Radio Nigeria, New Market Road, and other connecting roads in Gwagwalada.
This project marked the 17th infrastructure initiative inaugurated by Tinubu to celebrate his second year in office.
Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the president assured Nigerians that his administration would ensure every community is seen and every voice heard, regardless of location.
He added that his administration is steadily bridging the gap between promise and performance.
The president emphasized that the projects being unveiled in the FCT were not imposed from above but were nominated by the people of Gwagwalada themselves. (NAN)
