The Purple Valentine show had Ali Baba, Yinka Davies and Darey Art -Alade on stage with Nollywood power couple Joke Sylva and Olu Jacobs, along with Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya) of the New Masquerade fame dishing out advice on relationships. The show raised funds to make the medical outreach for the elderly which was spear headed by DBL and the No Compromise Club an annual affair.

Not done with assisting the youth, DBL worked on Abuja Collabo Project CD. Big names such as Samsong, Styl-Plus and Naydo leant their talent to the much talked about project. Songs from the CD recorded to promote peace and unity among Nigerians have been on heavy rotation on radio. The latest thing from DBL is yet another collaborative effort tagged the Ahenna Nigeria song for peace for which she paired up with the famous choir of the Abuja Metropolitan Music Society (AMEMUSO) and children from topnotch school for silver spoon kids the Premier Academy. Guests from all walks of life graced the command performance of the Ahenna Nigeria song held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton venue for meetings of the Throne Room Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, stewarded by DBL’s hubby Pastor Tunde.

It wasn’t just another Sunday meeting as the entire hall was draped with the national Green, White, Green colours. Singer and photographer TY Bello was among the large crowd. Bello was also moved to tears by presentation from Immanuel Umoren and Enobong Asanga, both students of Premier Academy.

Umoren in his message titled The Clarion Call sued for an end to the violence rocking the northern part of the country. Just as Asanga made a passionate plea for all to be focused on making Nigeria peaceful and prosperous through her poem titled The Nigeria of my Dream. Just as the chorus of the song called for all Nigerians to stand together to pray against the agents of violence, DBL said people should avoid acts that promote disunity. She expressed hope that the Ahenna Nigeria project will inspire others to spread message of peace and unity wherever they find themselves.
