The Association of Deaf Women in Kaduna State has condemned the stealing of a day old baby by an unknown woman from Yusuf Dantsoho hospital and called for the creation of a disabled friendly unit in all government hospitals in the state. 

A baby boy was on January 10, 2018 stolen from the hospital few hours after he was delivered by his deaf and dumb mother, Salamatu Kabiru. 

A statement signed by the chairperson of the association, Hajara Nasiru Makarfi, called on the management of the hospital and the state government to beef up security at the hospital as well as ensure compliance with visitors’ time table to move away from the prevailing uncontrolled influx of visitors.
