Debt: EKSU alumni rescue student

Succour has come the way of a 400-level medical student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, Miss Ajibodun Olubosola Aduralere, who was prevented from writing examination as the alumni association of the school has paid her fee debt.

It was gathered that the school denied her entrance to the examination hall on July 14, because she was indebted to the school to the tune of N426,500.

The development which was brought to the attention of the alumni association by its Ekiti State chapter Chairman, Mr Deji Oso, was addressed as the Chairman of the United States chapter, Chief Deolu Tinubu, ordered the immediate payment of the sum on his bill. His gesture was supported by Messrs Ayo Ademola and Bamidele Olagunju.

The National President of EKSU Alumni Association, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Olumide Abudu, appreciated the gesture of the members who came to the rescue of the student and enjoined others to emulate their virtues.
