In a press statement issued to Weekly Trust, the party also alleged that since he assumed office, Governor Sambo has been absenting himself from the seat of power “to attend to personal engagements within and outside the country for several weeks without official explanation at the expense of governance and the good people of Kaduna State.”
The statement which was signed by Barrister Mohammed Musa Soba, AC’s publicity secretary, further alleged that the governor has now travelled outside the country for a pleasure trip with sizeable members of the state EXCO using the state’s time and resources without official explanation.

Undue postponement thereby retarding the functions of government and creating an administrative vacuum, Barrister Soba alleged. He added that such frequent trips smack of flagrant abuse of power, adding that Kaduna State is too big to be taken for granted by absolute rulers.
Efforts to get the Information Commissioner, Alhaji Saidu Adamu, for comments were not successful as he neither picked the calls placed to him by Weekly Trust reporter nor reply his text message.
