Dambatta was reacting to the uproar created by delegates not satisfied with the composition of committees, with many saying they would have been better utilised in committees other than the ones they were placed in.   
But Dambatta who was peeved by the clamour also asked the chairman of the National Conference Justice Idris Kutugi to walk out anybody that misbehaves.
“Mr. Chairman, let me advice, let me plead that this house should please stop behaving like school children. We have become unruly, it is indecorous, it is unbecoming of us; I am not being rude to anybody.
“Let us go for the business that we are here for; we are not here for play and to raise point of order.
Please Mr. Chairman, take control of this conference; anybody who does not behave should be walked out. He should not spoil our business for which Nigerians are looking upon us to discharge.”
