The governor who said his administration was committed to transforming agriculture in the state, added that N1 billion is earmarked for the purchase of modern agricultural equipment like tractors, while the remaining N600 million is for youths development in agriculture.
Uduaghan said “we shall continue to focus on agriculture as a strategy towards sustaining our drive on ‘Delta beyond oil’,” adding that “we are encouraging our youths to embrace farming activities from which unemployment, hunger and malnutrition will be reduced.”
