Chief Okonta, a former chairman of the Abuja District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria, said Delta professionals believed that the state stands the chance of experiencing rapid development like other areas of the world if its huge resources were properly harnessed through effective leadership, which Dr Okowa, a seasoned senator and medical doctor, can provide.
