Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State

Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, yesterday swore in 26 new commissioners in the state and charged them to be humble in the discharge of their duties.

The governor said being a commissioner does not make them superior to others, and urged them to shun pride and arrogance.

Oborevwori also urged them to allow the spirit of fairness, equity and justice to guide their actions for effective service delivery to the people.

Meanwhile, the Kwara State House of Assembly yesterday confirmed 18 commissioner-nominees forwarded to it by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
