Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appealed to the residents over the deplorable condition of some roads.

He spoke yesterday while flagging off the APC campaign for the local government election, in Imeko Afon Local Government Area.

He promised to reconstruct the deplorable Abeokuta-Olorunda-Imeko road, which has become a hotspot for kidnapping in the state.

Addressing the people of Imeko Afon, the governor said his administration had executed 52 projects in the local government area in the past two years.

“This government belongs to you, continue to support us in prayers. On my way from Abeokuta, en route Lafenwa to Rounda and Olorunda, until I got here, I saw how deplorable the road is, I feel your pains.

“I want to promise you today that before I come here next, this road would almost have been completed,” he stated.
