The Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Engineer Haruna Manu, has called on students and youths to avoid thuggery in order to ensure the peaceful conduct of the general elections next year.
Manu gave the advice in Jalingo on Friday, when National Association of Jukun Students paid him a courtesy call at his office. He also urged students across in the country to shun acts capable of jeopardizing the peace of the nation.
Earlier, the President of the association, Mr Amos Nuhu, described the deputy governor as the only one in the history of the state that has worked with his boss without any issue.
