Experts in Nigeria’s recycle sector have called on the federal government to develop a clear cut policy that will harness the potentials of the sector to contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Speaking at a round table in Abuja yesterday on Circular economy which had the theme ‘Harmonization and Policy Development for the Nigeria Circular Economy,”, a former President of the Abuja Chamber for Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Prince Adetokunbo Kayode noted that the round table was targeted at aiding government to set a clear agenda on circular economy
He said “Government needs to recognize circular economy is multi sectoral capable of changing environmental waste to wealth and create huge jobs and contribute to economic because we won’t need any waste as a source of raw material.
