Popular Sierra Leonean – Nigerian songstress wrote that her father did a cameo appearance in her latest video.

In a post the "Awww" singer wrote: "My Sierra Leonean KING! Thank you to Papa! My hero my dad for making an appearance in my video! He came for a meeting in Abeokuta and ended up in SOWEMO. The support of family is everything! Sierra Leone stand up! Papa dey ."

So who is Di’ja’s father? A quick look at his wikipedia listing will give you these five fast facts about him

1. Joseph "Joe" Blell is a politician in Sierra Leone.

2. He served as Sierra Leone’s High commissioner to Nigeria from 1993 to 2002.  He was also Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Defense from 2002 until 2007. He is a Sierra Leonean.

3. He was the Team Manager of the National Football Team (Leone Stars) that qualified for the African Cup of Nations in 1994 (Tunisia) and won the African Zone II Football Trophy for the first time in December 1993.

4. Prior to his appointment as the Sierra Leone High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he was the Regional Director of the Canadian University Service Overseas (CUSO) to Nigeria based in Kano and later Kaduna in Northern Nigeria.

5. In 2016 he did a cameo role in one of Di’ja’s Video.
