Dike Chukwumerije is going to be reading from his novel, ‘Urichindere,’ a novel set in the 90’s during military regime.
The event will take place on May 20 by 2pm at Coal Store, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State. The 322 paged novel was published by Afriscope and centred on Urichindere, a student who learns to survive in boarding school.
Chukwumerije is a spoken word and performance poetry artist and an award-winning author with eight published books. ‘Urichindere’ won the 2013 Association of Nigerian (ANA) Prize for Prose Fiction and a poetry theatre production, ‘Made in Nigeria,’ currently touring the country.
