Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola fondly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed her thoughts about people who think failure is a bad thing to experience in life.

Last year, the Gelato singer got engaged to her ex-lover, Ryan Taylor. However, it came as a shock to many people when the singer announced via her social media that she had parted ways with Taylor.

Speaking recently at an event. DJ Cuppy who is the daughter of one of the rich men on the continent, Femi Otedola, said that despite being from a privilege background her life has been ‘unpredictable.’

She said,” There is a power in uncertainty. There is a power in not being sure there is also power in failure. Even the biggest most successful women; they don’t always do well.

“They don’t always sell out arenas or bestselling books. Failure is inevitable. We will all have failure in our personal lives and in our professional lives.”

“The entertainer further used herself as an example, “I can stand here and tell you how unpredictable my life has been despite being from a privileged background. Whether it is my failed jewelleryline which I started at 28 years old or going to the University of Oxford at 29 and almost failing class.

“To add the cherry on top, last year I got engaged but now I am no longer engaged but such is life. I know my story is still happening but there is more to come and I am okay with the uncertainty.”
