‘I worked with Siju for like two years but we have known each other as far back university days. It’s been fun working with him’, Djinee told Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET) in a telephone conversation.
Djinee says both parties felt they had to move on to bigger things. ‘I’m working with a new team and planning to release my next album pretty soon’, he explained.
Siju also confirmed the news; stating they both had to ‘move on’. ‘A lot of success and awards have come out of it. We worked for an awesome two and a half years’, Siju told NET.
Both parties have known each other for about eight years and had been friends right from their days in Ladoke Akintola University. Sources close to them say they still are very good friends.
Edo state born Djinee (real name Osayamen Nosa Donald) was once a Veejay at Soundcity before he began singing professionally in 2005. He dropped his popular single ‘Ego’ and subsequently his debut self-titled album which featured the popular single ‘Overkillin’ in 2009.
