Striking doctors in Kwara State have suspended their industrial action.
Chairman of the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners (NAGGMDP), Dr Saka Agboola, disclosed this after an emergency congress of the members held yesterday in Ilorin.
He said the decision to suspend the strike was “due to the favourable disposition” of the state government to negotiate with them.
The doctors commenced a 7-day warning strike on Monday due to what they described as poor condition of service and remuneration.
