Initially, I thought of ignoring the new; but then I clicked on a link and watched Suntai, struggling to craft words together, saying things out of context which is a clear sign he was not in grip of himself; and even his voice was barely audible. To cap it all, he said to the hearing of all, that he was not in position to steer the government of Taraba State.
After watching the over 6 minutes’ “interview with Mr Suntai”, I concluded that some people deserve to be in jail! Who wrote that letter to the Speaker of the House of Assembly intimating him of Mr Suntai’s desire to return to office? I think a probe panel needs to be put in place to find out the root of this problem and whoever is found wanting should face the music.
At last, the true state of things with regards to Mr Suntai is coming to light. All those that contributed in one way or the other to hold us to ransom, run the government by proxy, instigate religious and tribal violence should bury their heads in shame.
It’s over to the Taraba State House of Assembly and the State Executive council to do the needful and invoke the relevant constitutional parameters to make the state move on.
