The Media Officer of the club, China Acheru, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Port Harcourt.

Dolphins’ four players are presently with the Flying Eagles and Super Eagles, said the club’s spokesman.

The players are first choice goalkeeper Sunday Rotimi who is with the Super Eagles in the U.S. for the Green Bowl Invitational Tournament.

Others are Omo Ojabu, Jeleel Ajagun and Chidi Osuchukwu who are with the Flying Eagles in Turkey preparing for the African Youth championship planned to hold in Libya in March.

Acheru said the handlers of the team had replacements for the players when they file out against Shooting Stars which is 13th on the league table with 21 points from 17 matches.

Meanwhile, Dolphins full back and ex-Shooting Stars player, Mutiu Adegoke has said he would not celebrate if he scored against his former club.

Adegoke said that as an Enyimba FC of Aba player, he scored against Shooting Stars at Ibadan and incurred the wrath of the fans.

“I played for Shooting. In fact that is my home town club but some years back while I was with Enyimba we came to Ibadan and played a 3-3 draw against Shooting.(NAN)
