The former Nigerian champions will test their strength against the Nigeria National League (NNL) side for a place in the round of 16 on Wednesday at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
Ezuruike said for the Uyo-based side to have seen off the opposition of Glo Premier League side, Kwara United in the round of 64 shows they are not a side to be treated with kid gloves.
“Akwa Starlets are a second tier side, they took out Kwara United from the race, so they’ve shown themselves to be no pushovers.
“We don’t even admit there is glaring difference between the quality of teams in the Nigeria National League and Glo Premier League.
“We’re aware of the shocking surprises that underlie the Federation Cup, so we won’t be foolish to fall for its tricks.
“We’re not going to underrate the side but will deploy the whole arsenal available to us into the game with the aim of winning the encounter outright.
“We have our target to play in the final and chance grabbing the title, so we’re not prepared to take any chance against Akwa Starlets. We’ll descend on them right from the blast of the whistle until we completely subdue them”.
