Music executive Don Jazzy and Afrobeats superstar Wizkid have dispelled any notion of a rift between them after their recent social media disagreement.
Don Jazzy publicly expressed gratitude to Wizkid for endorsing his artist Ayra Starr’s second album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’
Wizkid had shared the album cover and streaming link on his X account, writing, “Superstar.” Don Jazzy responded by reposting Wizkid’s tweet with the message, “Thanks Big Wiz.”
Previously, Wizkid had criticized Don Jazzy after Ladipoe, one of Don Jazzy’s signees, appeared to mock Wizkid in an X post for claiming that “hip hop is dead.”
When a fan informed Wizkid of the post, he replied, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
He also retweeted two tweets implying that he was referring to Don Jazzy as an influencer.
