Political parties now have become hired vehicles for leaders to move from one party to another in a desperate move to be in office for power and money rather than for public service. It is not correct to overcome lack of internal democracy by jumping into another party and in turn cause fresh internal crisis there. Nigerians must stand up to demand for accountability not after the elections but even before the elections.
We must vote on the basis of developmental issues not just on persons of means and money, both questionable. We must vote also on the basis of person’s manifesto if is credible, fair and transparent. Our political parties now are more in numbers rather than quality.
