President-elect Donald Trump has been announced as the Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

Donald Trump said after the news was disclosed to him that: “To be on the cover of Time as Person of the Year is a tremendous honor” 

Trump said in 2015 when he was a finalist for the award, but Time selected German Chancellor Angela Merkel: “I think they (Time) absolutely picked the wrong person, I think they picked the person that’s really done tremendous damage to Germany.”
