As women globally celebrated the 2020 International Women’s Day (IWD) last Sunday, Chairman, Nigerians in Disapora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has advised women not to allow their family to suffer because of career.
She said the family is important just as their career, saying they should always endeavour to create quality time for their families despite the tight work schedule.
Dabiri-Erewa gave the counsel at the 2020 Triumphant Ladies’ Conference 2020 in Lagos, themed, “Focus.”
The convener of the conference, Mrs. Kasali, said the conference was organised to inspire women to success and make them contribute their quota more meaningfully to the society.
CEO of House of Tara, Mrs. Tara Fela Durotoye in her keynote address advised women not to focus on money but on creating wealth and building values.
