The Vice President of Industrial Global Union, Comrade Issa Aremu, has urged Nigerians not to leave the war against petrol price hike to the labour unions alone.
He asked Nigerians to instead resist any attempt by the government to hike fuel pump price, and advised the Federal Government to treat hoarding and diversion of the product as an act of terrorism and find an urgent solution to the problem.
Aremu said during a special lecture organised in Ilorin to mark his 57th birthday that the nation was grappling with problems because it had been enmeshed in governance crisis, and urged President Muhammadu Buhari to rein in cabals in the oil industry, who he alleged were all out to inflict hardship on the entire populace.
