Deputy National Women Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Zainab Ibrahim, has called on women not to allow their husbands vote for another party in the 2023 general elections.

She made the call at the inauguration of the campaign office of HUM National Support Group for Tinubu/Shettima in Abuja yesterday.

The office was officially inaugurated by the APC vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

She advised the women to hide their husbands’ permanent voters cards (PVCs) if they are going to waste their votes by voting another party other than the ruling party, the APC.

“This is the time to give the PDP sleepless nights. Make sure (anybody whose husband is not ready to vote for APC) that you hide their PVCs, don’t let them waste it. All votes must go to APC. We want a landslide victory,” she said.

On his part, the APC national deputy chairman North, Senator Abubakar Kyari commended the national coordinator of the support group for her efforts in mobilising Nigerians to support and vote for the party in the 2023 general elections.
