When thwarted not once but twice while climbing, some mountaineers might simply give up. But this brave climber was determined to defy all odds and scale Dún Briste, a 160ft towering vertical column of rock off the coast of north west Ireland. In accomplishing the feat, adventurer Iain Miller, 46, became the first person in 25 years to climb the rock, known as a sea stack, and the second person ever to achieve the feat. He told MailOnline Travel: ‘A summit that is seen yearly by thousands of people and has only been climbed once before ever is always going to be a good scary goal for climbers’.
