Hundreds of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Tuesday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The defectors also drummed support for the Lagos PDP governorship candidate, Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor and the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The state Deputy Chairman, Hon. Tai Benedict commended the decampees for their courage to join efforts with the PDP in salvaging the state from 23 years of “neglect and bad governance.”
But a spokesperson for the APC, Mr Seye Oladejo described the defection as “mere day-dreaming.”
