DPR officials supervised the dispensation of the product to motorists at the official pump price of N145 per litre.
Our correspondent reports that the DPR also seized 300 litres of fuel horded in 10 jerry cans at Manullahi Global Resource in Hina, Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area and dispensed it free to motorists.
Another filling station, Barkidi Oil Nigeria Limited located at Liji quarters, was also sealed for selling above pump price, after the 26, 000 litres of fuel it was hoarding was dispensed to motorists at the official price.
Speaking to newsmen, DPR Zonal Controller in Gombe, Abdullahi Abawa, said the organisation does not like sealing filling stations, but added that the oil marketers always flout the DPR’s statutory regulations, and hardly heed to advice and warnings.
