Leading Pan-African satelite/cable TV service provider, DSTV, on Wednesday launched an installation app for its agents nationwide.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos today, Multichoice Nigeria Limited’s Head of National Projects & Field Operations, Mr. Ekom Esang, said the app, which is a web-based platform, will enable its certified installers connect with its customers across Nigeria who are in need of their services.
He said it will also enable any prospective installer to register as agent on its platform and render top-notch services to its growing customers base.
The Head of National Sales at Multichoice Nigeria Limited, Mr. Ismail Olalekan, also pointed out that new installers would undergo coaching process, where they will be accessed based on their skills and guided through the installation processes.
He added that the platform was created to help its installers get job referrals within their chosen locality.
He noted that installers who also post installation request on the platform would have higher ratings and may get more job referrals than others.
Also speaking at the event, Multichoice Nigeria Limited’s Head of Corporate Communications, Caroline Oghuma, said customers will also get SMS from DSTV, confirming the time, date and details of the installer assigned to each customer’s service request. Then, installer can go to the assigned customer’s address with his verified ID card on the date chosen.
