Late Nollywood actor Duro Michael, who has been described as a talented and calm actor by friends, was one of the popular actors of the 2000s.

The veteran actor, who was known for his infectious energy on screen, died after years of battle with diabetes. His health issues began in 2020 and took a heavy toll after one of his limbs was cut off.

Following his plea for support, he reportedly received the sum of N5 million from Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

Despite his health challenges, Michael, who had featured in movies like The Guilty 1 and 2, Midnight Love, Nothing for Nothing, Akpu-Nku, Evil Woman, Tears & Sorrows, Mothering Sunday, Issakaba, etc, still showed his undying love for the craft.

He posted a video where he called for more roles in the movie industry, as he still had much to offer the industry beyond his personal travails.
