The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State says no fewer than 70,000 members of the party have been registered in the ongoing APC e-membership registration exercise across the 17 local government areas of Yobe.
The State Party Chairman, Hon. Mohammed Gadaka, disclosed this to journalists during a stakeholders’ meeting with party members in Damaturu.
Hon. Gadaka said data from the registration dashboard indicated that over 70,000 members had so far been captured in the exercise. He stressed that effective grassroots mobilisation and sustained awareness creation were key to the success of the programme.
He emphasized the need for deliberate mobilisation, continuous sensitisation, and proper coordination of party members at the state, local government, and ward levels to take the message to their constituencies in order to ensure widespread participation.
The APC chairman underscored the importance of unity, loyalty, and commitment among party members, describing them as essential pillars for strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to justice, equity, fairness, and inclusive governance, assuring that the APC would continue to carry the people along in all its programmes and initiatives.
Speaking at the meeting, the Special Adviser to the Yobe State Governor on Political Matters, Hon. Usman Kabarma, said party members were fully mobilised and ready to provide massive grassroots support to ensure the success of the APC e-membership registration exercise across the state.
