The Nigeria Tornadoes striker has fired 16 goals thus far this season and these goals have now earned him a place in the squad for warm-up game in Niger on August 15 preparatory to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia.

The 23-year-old Sibi Gwar is now only four goals short of the NPL all-time record set by Jude Aneke last season.

He is a skilful centre-forward whose goals have given relegation-threatened Tornadoes hope that they could avoid the dreaded drop this season.

The goals of the former Enyimba and Kwara United star have already attracted interest from Europe and Asia.
