Goals from returned Villareal striker Ikechukwu Uche and China based Aaron Samuel was sufficient for the Eagles to avenge the 3-2 defeat in Calabar suffered at the hands of the Congolese back in September.
Former minister of sports, col. Musa Mohammed, says despite Super Eagles impressive showing in Point Noire yesterday, the team still needs a technical adviser to help the coach steer the team to greater successes on the pitch.
Speaking to Fever Pitch immediately after Nigeria’s match with the Red Devils yesterday, the former Borno state military administrator added that during his time as minister, then President Olusegun Obasanjo never wanted a foreign manager for Eagles.
“Though Keshi has tried, I still feel the team needs a foreign technical adviser if the NFF can afford it” Mohammed said.
 Eagles who are now on seven points play South Africa for the final qualification match on Wednesday at the newly built Akwa Ibom international stadium with strong hopes of making it to Equatorial Guinea next year.
