What effects do emotional, social and physical developments of young children have directly on their overall development?
Early childhood education plays an important role in child development by giving children an opportunity to engage in a range of educational and social activities. These early years are the foundation for lifelong learning and are crucial to academic success. How children learn and develop mentally, emotionally and socially is very critical at the early stage. This period of a child’s life is when he or she builds cognitive skills, as well as character skills.
Early childhood education is given during the first eight years of the life of an individual. In the first eight years of their lives, children learn how to associate with people around them.
Children with solid early childhood education are better equipped to learn, better behaved and overall more prepared for the future.
While many people think children don’t really start learning until they are in primary school, the first three years of a child’s life are actually their most formative. Early childhood education will not only make children better communicators at an early age, but also give them better learning skills that can keep them throughout their lives. It also helps in developing the language and vocabulary skills of children. This stage is very critical to a child’s mental and intellectual development.
