The Ebonyi and Cross River State governments should urgently find a lasting solution to the boundary dispute between Ekoli Edda in Afikpo LGA of Ebonyi and neighbouring Biase LGA of Cross River.
The two communities have been having dispute over a palm plantation on their boundary.
Few days ago, two persons were killed and five others abducted from Ekoli Edda in Afikpo LGA.
This is quite sad and I call on Governor Ben Ayade and Dave Umahi to quickly wade into this matter for a peaceful resolution.
We cannot afford to have further killings in the area.
I also urge the warring communities to sheathe their swords and embrace peace.
