Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State said this at the 14th matriculation ceremony of Ebonyi State College of Education, Ikwo.
He said: “The ongoing recruitment has made it open that graduates of National Certificate Education (NCE) and Bachelor Degree holders (B.ED) will be employed in our educational system to help us achieve quality education for Ebonyi State youths,” he said.
Governor Elechi, who spoke through his personal assistant on Higher Education, Prof Mike Otuma, said the perimeter fencing of the college, landscaping and construction of the provost’s lodge would be completed soon.
He added that government would not relent in providing the basic needs of the college, urging the management of the college to exploit the opportunity provided by the federal government through her tertiary funding scheme to foster academic development in terms of seminar, research in recognized institutions and infrastructural development.
