Bingham University which was established by ECWA with its main campus in Karu, near Abuja, has its teaching hospital in Jos where the church has its headquarters, and medical students receive their training in Jos.
While speaking at the commissioning and dedication of the three-storey complex, ECWA President, Rev Jeremiah Gado said ECWA views its university as a place where students would gather to receive the best tutorials under conducive environment.
He said, “Bingham University is poised to provide functional education different from what you find elsewhere. We are doing well already; we will only get better, and we are deeply committed to what will make us better.”
Also speaking, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Samuel Kursim Leonard-Fwa, said the University works to combine a culture of excellence and discipline to achieve utmost standards for the benefit of students and a good name for the university.
