The governor, who promised to accord agriculture the priority it deserved within the remaining three years of his administration, also said foreign and local investors are planning to invest $2 billion (about N320 billion) to  develop  agriculture in the state.
He said the state government has proposed to cultivate over 300,000 hectares of new farmland across the state even as 180,000 hectares of land is being prepared for distribution to investors.
