A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Glory Oziegbe Momodu, has pledged support for Joseph Ikpea, the party’s senatorial candidate for Edo Central district.

Addressing journalists yesterday, Momodu who contested the ticket with Ikpea, said he would work for the victory the APC candidate during the by-election slated for August this year.

He also pledged support for the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo, whom he said has demonstrated visionary leadership in delivering sustainable growth and development for our people.

“I stand before you today to reaffirm my unshakable support for His governor Okpebholo, and the progressive agenda his administration in driving good in Edo State”.

He said as a loyal party man and a true believer in the collective progress of Edo, he would use his resources and network to ensure the success of Governor Okpebholo’s tenure.

” I want to assure our party leadership and the good people of Edo Central that I will work for the victory of the APC candidate in the senatorial by-election as well as the re-election president Bola Tinubu in 2027′ he said.
