Edo College of Education begins Admission

The Edo State College of Education has announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a statement issued by Mr. Omonzejele Emmanuel, Acting Registrar, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening teacher education in Edo State and Nigeria.

According to the statement, the college offers academic programmes across several schools, including the School of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education, School of Vocational Education, School of Technical Education, School of Education, School of Special Needs Education, School of Arts and Social Sciences Education, and the School of Human Kinetics and Health Education, among others.

These schools oversee programmes leading to the award of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and Professional Diploma in Education (PDE).

Mr. Omonzejele noted that the institution operates a multi campus structure with facilities in Igueben, Abudu, and Afuze, and the College’s administrative headquarters is located at Igueben, Edo State.

He added that prospective applicants may submit their applications through the College’s online admission platform www.edocoe.edu.ng or contact the Admissions Office on 08138003318 for further enquiries.
