The Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Monday Agbonika, has decorated 307 recently promoted officers with their new ranks.

While decorating the officers, Agbonika charged them to redouble their commitment to duty, discipline, and professionalism.

He said a promotion comes with higher expectations and responsibilities, especially at a time when public trust and effective policing are paramount.

“This promotion is not just a reward for hard work but a call to serve with greater zeal and integrity,” he said, urging them to let their new ranks be reflected in their conduct, dedication, and the protection of the people.
