The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, said his administration would create a Benin cultural district where the Edo Museum of West African Art, would house the returned stolen artifacts from overseas.
Obaseki who disclosed this in Benin during a management retreat of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) said, “We are already working on it and have put up an Urban renewal plan for this purpose,”.
