Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS)
The management of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service, EIRS, has disclosed that the service has generated over N10 billion for January, 2025.
The executive chairman of the service, Oladele Bankole-Balogun, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Edo State Police Command.
He said the visit was to seek the support and partnership of security agencies in sustaining the record with a view to ensuring compliance and enforcement with the tax laws.
“The service generated over N10 billion last month of January, 2025. This was possible by the mandate given to the management of the service by the governor of the state, Monday Okpebholo,” he said.
Responding, the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Betty Enekpen Otimenyin assured that the command would support and partner with the agency to sustain the IGR collection.
