Edo: IUTH offers free medical services to 1,400 indigent patients

Edo: IUTH offers free medical services to 1,400 indigent patients

A total of 1,400  patients have benefited from free medical treatment organized by  Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital (IUTH) in its Benin centre.

The CMD, Prof. Godwin Nosa Bazuaye, who disclosed this in Benin, said the one-week exercise ended on Saturday.

Bazuaye said over 40 surgeries have been performed by medical experts free, adding that hernia, appendicitis and cataracts topped the list of cases treated.
