Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested two suspected ritualists in Benin City for performing money ritual using a cat and a coffin in their apartment.
City & Crime gathered that a pastor of a new generation church, who the suspects mentioned as an accomplice, is on the run.
The suspects, Daniel Eguare (22) and Oboko Marvis (24), who hail from Delta State but are resident in Benin, were arrested after a tip-off from the public.
It was learnt that the residents who saw the suspects bringing a coffin and a cat into their rented one-bedroom apartment at midnight with some strange persons reported the incident to the police.
When contacted, the command’s spokesperson, Bello Kontongs, confirmed the incident.
